The Sunday Ride Classic event is the largest European operation created and developed on the theme of motorcycle sport heritage.

Over the past 11 years, the Sunday Ride Classic at the Circuit Paul Ricard has been much more than a simple classic event, a passionately historic combination of all the essential elements of motorcycle sport. With the promoters expecting to bring together more than 1,000 motorcycles for this 11th edition, the “SRC”, still with the Circuit Paul Ricard, always sets its sights on the world record for the largest number of motorcycles of the same brand gathered together on a circuit: 517 Ducati in 2018.

Demonstrations of models from the history of motorcycles, as well as collection and prestigious racing machines from 1960 to the present-day. With many stars at the handlebars, including the American Freddie Spencer, the multiple 250 and 500 cm3 World Champion; the Italian Giacomo Agostini, 15 times World Champion; and Christian Sarron, 250 World Champion, to mention but a few.

The history of motorcycle racing in seven competition categories covering the activity of the Circuit Paul Ricard from 1970 to the present-day: speed races, endurance races (European Classic Championship) with a 4-hour night race on Saturday and ever spectacular side-cars. The entire Circuit Paul Ricard space will be used, especially with a Trial Classic test around the bitumen track.

In terms of exhibitions, the SRC will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Fédération Internationale Moto by presenting legendary Grand Prix motorcycles, but that’s not all! Honda France will also be present because 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the legendary Honda CB750. World famous as the motorcycle of the 20th century, the CB will be the star of the show with the presence of drivers from various
periods, such as Jean-Claude Chemarin the multiple winner of the Bol d’Or and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. We will also celebrate the half century of the MV Agusta 750S, with Giacomo Agostini, and watch the parade of 750S from all over Europe.
Finally, a world first, the SRC generation parade will bring together father-son, father-daughter, mother son, and mother-daughter teams behind Giacomo Agostini and his son on the 750 Yamaha TZ from the 200 Miles Paul Ricard race from 1975-80.

A genuine Motorcycle show will present all the latest products, some of which will be available for visitors to test. Equipment suppliers will also be attending, and we will be able to participate in the launch of models, including the latest KTM 790 Adventure, the Indian FTR and the Suzuki Katana. Motorcycles parades with star drivers; autograph sessions; tests of new motorcycles and first-time trips on the track.
