Mar 30, 2019

At least five racing categories — F1, Sport-Protos, Endurance, GT and Touring Cars — will provide the framework for Le Castellet Motors Cup, the first 2019 meeting of the Masters Historic at the Circuit Paul Ricard.

Five categories of the Masters Historic will be on the
programme of Le Castellet Motors Cup at the Circuit Paul
Ricard, on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 March 2019:

- FIA Masters Historic Formula One (F1 from 1966 to 1985)
- FIA Masters Historic Sports Cars (Sport-Prototypes and GT from 1962 to 1974)
- Masters Endurance Legends (Endurance cars from 1995-2012)
- Gentlemen Drivers pre-66 GT Cars (pre-1966 Gran Turismo cars)
- Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars (pre-1966 Touring Cars).

An exceptional line-up
For its first edition, the Circuit Paul Ricard event will offer a line-up already described by specialists as exceptional in all respects!

The meeting organised by HVM Racing will be resolutely international and at this gathering, we will find the prestigious events of the FIA Masters Historic. The Masters are, first and foremost, a FIA (Fédération internationale de l’automobile) Formula 1 championship for the period from 1966 to 1985. Also much awaited, the pre-1975 Sport Protoypes event, which also provided many legendary hours in the history of motorsport.

We will be able to continue to dream with the GT and the pre-1966 Touring Cars event, not to mention the great new feature of the 2019 season, the Masters Endurance Legends competition.

Because, although it is a recent creation, it brings together relatively recent endurance cars which could almost make you believe that the 24 Hours of Le Mans has moved to the Circuit Paul Ricard !
